The Framework Laptop 13 Pro and the Steam Machine are canaries for a society wide problem which feels comically unfair because they both would be two of the most interesting pieces of hardware in years at their original price points.

As a creator of this work, the *why* is more important than the ranking to begin with. I would just as soon never put a number next to a ranking again; context is king. If the person giving you a ranking cannot tell you why Player 1 is better or worse than Player 2, the ranking is meaningless.

There's a manufacturing issue with the baseball. Drag is down. Link unclear. Full story to come shortly, but here's the statement I got from MLB when I asked about it.

Amateur baseball is a very difficult area in the industry and the combine is not for the novice. If you’re looking to get into amateur from your couch, I’d recommend reading BA/pipeline/ESPN and following a team or two for a year. List out the draft eligible players you liked and see where they go
