Me at the doctor’s: blood pressure like I’m about to fucking up and die right then and there. Me at home with a 24 hour thing strapped to my arm, even while also trying to deal with the fact that we just got hit with some kind of health care card problem (FFS): blood pressure perfectly healthy.
A week and a half after my minor surgery and I feel like I am finally coming out the other side, maybe. I’m still so ridiculously tired and very mentally/emotionally fragile, but… something much closer to human, I think. I’m also back to jotting down things about my long fic? Which is so nice??

Look, I get why the surprise! mpreg/egg fics that I read all have the baby-carrying parent wanting to keep the child (author is excited about the characters wanting to parent together) BUT I can never understand why the parent needs to be so 100% not-conflicted and all-excited about *carrying it*.
