Corey Atad@coreyatad.com · 2mo agoi think, end of the day, the real problem with Bluesky is that most of its users are here *because* they want to be in a bubble. and they can tell themselves that it’s just about not being around Nazis it supporting Musk, and that’s part of it, but also there’s a palpable desire to be ensconced.

This is a such a classic dumb-guy-trying-to-look-smart maneuver, too. To suggest that because you can (incorrectly) decompose a complex abstraction into the smaller components that implement it, that you have somehow shown the abstraction to be invalid.

I’m not sure what you mean by goalposts moving because I don’t recall saying that such a thing couldn’t be tried. He wanted to know where the gap was, and I explained. However, people have of course been trying things with feedback loops. CoT “reasoning” and parallel agents, for instance.
