A story my Dad used to tell. He was from Sligo & grew up in 40s/50s. A man from the ministry came by the farm of a neighbour. Her husband had died & she was keeping it all going. He was the artificial insemination man. She sent him out to the shed & said you can hang your trousers on the door.
