They still do, at least Nintendo of America does. If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US. Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.

Don’t exactly blame Capcom for not wanting to rock the boat on the biggest hit fighting game in years, but what exactly is the point of the Yearly Game Balance Patch if the net result is the same experience? It’s the worst of both worlds

SF6 patch notes are almost always big enough to change decisions in every match but almost never big enough to change outcomes in any matchup. I gotta study what happened with all these blorbos just to have my results against them stay the same? Almost feels like busywork to me tbh
