Today is an important reminder for myself that no matter how dark the world gets, it's important to celebrate joy. Especially when it gets dark: you only know you're getting closer to the light when you know what to look for. I think my wish is to make Earth a lot better by the time I get to 35.

Jason Schreier@jasonschreier.bsky.social · 3d agoBeing a parent is pretty tough, but it's all worth it for that moment, every once in a while, when you get to take your kid to the city to see a marching band and say, "Will you defeat them? Your demons and all the non-believers, the plans that they have made?"
Curious if any other entry-level gamedevs have been experiencing burnout when it comes to job applications. I find so much more fulfillment making my own stuff to share with my friends. It's like, why bother spending all this time on a resume and portfolio that no human will bother ever reading?
