I thought the Russian ambassador on Q and A was quite a caricature of a Russian in a government position. Couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the interview even on such a serious topic.

Seeing the crazies come out of the woodwork over the Fauci witch hunt, even here, I’m reminded that despite all the knowledge & science available to us at our fingertips, this is probably the stupidest humanity has been since the Middle Ages. Historians will not view this period in a good light.

Listening to Winston breathing grievances like a clogged up bellows, I’m sincerely hoping the next government will bring in a bill to cap the age of a politician’s tenure to 70 at a minimum.

Currently trying to organise respite care for Murray while I’m recovering from surgery. It’s both easy & difficult. The Easy..I just have to ring a rest home & book him in then advise the agency. The difficult.. trying to find a rest home that has an open bed for the dates I need. Sigh…..

Since I did do my PhD in cyanobacteria growth and treatment optimization modeling AND work in the water treatment industry, I’m gonna share my theory as to what’s happening here and how to fix it. People are focusing on the painted bottom of the pool increasing residual heat, and while that 1/19

RIP Mark Rothko. You would have loved how the hydrogen peroxide bleach is only turning the Reflecting Pool blue around the perimeter

I’ve been off here for a bit what with tripping up the hospital daily for Murray, getting a heap of sewing done before my own surgery & generally being disorganised & so much has happened. Oh well, time waits for no man.

Really tired of seeing MPs post the exact same thing like they only have one collective brain! Wish the election was this week because the next 5 months is going to feel like 5 years!

I see Nicola was happy to use the Covid times as an excuse for hard economic times now whilst talking to Duplicity yesterday. Seems a bit “excuses for me but not for thee” to me.

Am I wrong to question the treasury predictions of 220,000 new jobs (over time) given our current unemployment rate is 163,00, even allowing for population growth & new entrants onto the job market? Doesn’t that seem an unrealistic dream to anyone else?????

I see all the brilliant people on here who are going to submit against the Marcroft gender bill with reasonings unique to their fields, but what about someone who just plain thinks it’s wrong & wants to submit along those lines. Would appreciate some help articulating that please.

Look, I do not like the woman but I’m quite concerned that Nicola Willis is looking seriously emaciated . I noticed that she seemed to stumble when getting up on stage for her pre budget speech & looked exceptionally gaunt with dark shadows under the eyes.

Does anyone else get the impression that the real Luxon is starting to show himself? What with short, angry, rude answers to questions, his views on immigration & calling expert advice “a load of rubbish “, it’s either that or he’s burning his bridges because he knows he’s not going to get back in!
