I hate to break it to everyone, but the FSU showed up in force to the InternetNZ board elections this year. Douglas Brown was voted in the first round. His and Heather's first rank votes together accounted for approx *62%* of all the votes. And there were MORE voters this year.

Genuinely surprising to see this (truthful) framing on NZ Herald. The actual headline when you click through is far more prosaic, and the story is by their "Business Journalist", so there's a real possibility the AI who wrote the initial headline is currently being beaten out back.
