Every cyclist death is heartbreaking, but it hits even harder when it's an advocate like this. It's infuriating and saddening. These deaths, especially on roads that are known to be dangerous, are simply policy choices.

A cycling advocate and transportation planner for the city of Boston was identified as the cyclist who was struck and killed in a crash near Roxbury Crossing this morning.

I have a few more rotations to finish med school after taking time off. Was initially unready to leave the confines of being a student, but after a few days on rotation I’m feeling ready to move onto the next stage of training & get paid. It never gets easier…just different levels of hard.
