I feel a bit bad for how little I have to share these days. With the advance of generative AI and the general state of the world I lost a lot of motivation to engage in social media but also to invest in my art beyond what's practically necessary.
I'm gonna drop off of ArtFight this year. Thought my bg idea would help me but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oh well, it wasn't helping me have fun I'll make a list ahead of time for next year to help myself be more prepared, I didn't do that this year and wow did that take the energy out of doing much

No more calling it "friendslop". They're co-op/multiplayer games. Friendslop is a terribly degrading term used by miserable, friendless basement dwellers who have ever only played FPS while yelling slurs at some kid. Especially sad when the games are fun, engaging, and done with true care.
If your only claim to art is "I can only draw a stick figure", PLEASE push to learn more than just defaulting to that response. You have the most basic part down, you can absolutely do more if you allow yourself to express and have fun with it

From what I've seen on other people's art, that's where the hair could come from? Pieces of the abstraction that remain, meanwhile they get their body/autonomy back Latching it to the head too, mental instability is still present but is a work in progress for the determined Jax 🤔

Still fighting my teenage self - I've struggled with posting my art for years, even with the baby steps I've made in the past and on here. Outside of the realm of art posts, I just struggle with online language and posting habits in general? I wasn't allowed to do much online until high school

im not going to use any site that asks me to give it my ID. full stop. if KOSA passes then that will be my sign to remove the internet from my daily routine. it wont be easy or fun but i will do it anyway, and i encourage others to do the same.

I think we’re long past the “ai bad because of stealing” argument and fully in the “ai is also actively and tangibly destroying our planet why are you even trying to use it as an art tool at this point” stage
