My current art obsession is this round ass Godzilla by Mike Mignola. Plump but still menacing w/ that classic Mignola line and shape efficiency.

There's a personally meaningful gaming anniversary today: the 40th since the release of Binary Systems' Starflight. Starflight is one of the great early free-roaming space exploration games that laid the template for many more after it. Very much the Mass Effect of its time. 1/2

There's several fighting games coming out soon, so it's time to remind everyone that I run Golden Wiiklies, a fighting game Discord that hosts tournaments and leagues for press and friends, and it's a great way to learn and meet chill people. If I know you and you would like to join, let me know.

It's me! I tried to write less about why I think these games are good and more about what moments or feelings stuck with me from last year. So it's a little different than a regular top 10, but I'm happy with it, and I hope people find some value in it.

Just played through A Short Hike. I love this #indiegame and recommend it to everyone. You have to experience its charms firsthand: little moments add up into an emergent story unique to your playthrough. Work + life have me a bit burnt out lately. I really needed A Short Hike, and am glad for it.
