it really feels like there urgently need to be measures at the OS level specifically for border crossings, like wiping user data, or keeping an image in the cloud to restore from when you're out of border officers' immediate reach, or otherwise generally preempting/avoiding confrontations like these

The comet had been discovered earlier that year, and broke apart in 2022. This photo won the overall prize for Rhemann of the Royal Observatory Greenwich's Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2022.
