I think about this post a lot - whether you agree with its premise or not - because I really do think it's important for people to develop a radar growing up about what is and isn't real on the internet, especially given that old gens never did that and have almost no internet literacy whatsoever.

I'm a United supporter and my wife's family all support City. I convinced her to name our son Frederick because it's a family name. Fred got shorted and now he only responds to Red. It is petty and stupid but cheers me up no end when we have to go the in-laws.
