We're excited to announce a new release of SedonaDB, and this one is a big one! Between native DataFrame APIs in Python and R, a brand new Geography implementation, GPU accelerated joins, and a raster/ND-array foundation, it's hard to know where to start.

My favorite Safari feature is how it auto-completes the URL you want to go to and then, mere milliseconds later, gets shy and removes the auto-completion, so my Google history is filled with a bunch of insane searches for two- and three-letter prefixes.

Apparently 14 years ago today I was in the village of Emmonak on the Yukon River taking pictures with a GoPro at 7:30 PM with the sun still high in the sky. This trip by itself was an incredible experience but so has the last 14 years.

Landscape photo taken with a wide FOV (GoPro). In the foreground lies a partially piled up gill net with visible floats, the webbing trailing off into the midfield. Scraggly trees make up the remainder of the midfield. In the background lies a stretch of the Yukon River delta with various minor islands behind. The sun is high in the frame and shines partially obscured by a mix of cumulus and stratus clouds. Some areas of blue sky are visible.

Today we launched Ribbit — An Anagram game where you'll find every word — live to everyone! Letters are only linked if they're used in a word. As you find words, the grid prunes itself. By the end, there's just one word left. Then frogs sing to you. Play here: www.puzzmo.com/puzzle/2026-...
