Amen. The blasé nature in which far far too many of our fanbase look upon r*d b*ll is terrifying. There is an almost arrogance that “we’re Leeds, they won’t and can’t do anything”. Look around, we’re already one of their clubs. Oh, and that’s before we get on to them funding far right media…

The pressure on kids too! In Berlin they get divided after the 6th class (12). My eldest already under so much pressure (despite us trying to remove it) to do well in exams etc to ensure she’s at the gymnasium. Parents going nuts in regards to it. They’re 9!
Sam Freedman@samfr.bsky.social · 3d agoOne reason I'm so opposed to early selection is it means the sorting process is essentially done in advance by teachers/parents and so kids aren't even given a chance on the route that leads to the high status and well paid jobs.

But figures like Cordeiro and some of these national and regional football leaders have enabled this behaviour for quite some time. Their roles will have to be considered
