But anyone with two braincells to rub together, and the capacity to observe the world as it exists, understands that even if genAI lives up to all its hype, no developer's life is going to be made easier by it. They will simply be expected to double their output for the same pay, or be laid off.

If every developer's productivity doubled overnight, they would not suddenly be expected to work half the number of hours, or be granted twice the amount of vacation time, or have their pay doubled. The company would simply pocket the difference, and/or make plans to fire half their staff.

"fiction normalizes—" idk abt any of that but I think social media has normalized absolutely batshit behavior and social conventions that are inconceivable to anyone that is actually well-balanced and thriving in the real world and that's a bigger problem than fiction will ever be

AMONG US is out now! I only helped out as a storyboard supervisor for a bit, but it was a pleasure to work alongside so of my favorite people in the industry to create this unique, funny, heartfelt, gruesome and smart show. Stuff like this does not come around often. Watch it!

i swear to god, if your first thought when seeing a trans guy with boobs is to confront the trans male artist (with boobs) because you are worried about it being "fetish work" i need your worldview on gender to expand REAL quick

Comment reply to me on my art that features my trans male character without top surgery where the fact that he happens to have boobs is not the point whatsoever. Comment from person says nothing wrong with art of men being sexy. I interpreted the lines as accentuating his breasts, which I personally found odd to point out as a trans man who hates to see us underrepresented or sometimes fetishized in media, hence why! said on purpose. If that wasn't the intention then no harm done. All trans men are different, which is why I was just curious and asking a question. I reply to this I'm going to say this as nicely as I can: you should look inward if your first assumption upon viewing art of a trans man (who does happen to have boobs) is that you feel the *need* to confront me because you worry my art is possibly fetish work. Not every trans experience is the same and being on edge about depictions of trans men in art being "fetishy" is doing harm to not only the trans artists making these work, but also the trans people who *do* look this way, who do find their own bodies attractive, who do want to feel desirable and proud of who they are. If you find trans men are underrepresented, after asking me why I draw my own character the way I do "on purpose", maybe you don't grasp that a lot of trans artists are scared to share our work when people will either hurl transphobic remarks at us... or other queer people are judgmental and claiming inadvertently our own bodies are fetish work because of the art we make. Next time you see art that prompts you to think the same way, maybe realize that trans art is also not one singularity, just like the trans people making said art. Some trans guys have boobs, like I do, and it's not the end of the world that art exists out there that *does* point out a trans man can have them. Even though, this art, is very much not doing that.

We DID actually have to tone down how many butts there were, so we were sent a list of which exact butts to take out and which we could keep. This shot originally had a giant butt for Red, but we were told it was too much, so we made it into the tiniest butt possible, which allowed us to keep it.

"Why are there so many butts in the Among Us show?" Because one storyboard artist drew a butt, and the other artists saw that I didn't say no to the butt, so every artist on the show added butts whenever they got the opportunity. Everyone agrees: we like them having little gumdrop booties.
