Sin that must be eternally punished is a culturally Christian idea that you can and should reject. If someone admits wrongdoing and changes their behavior, that's the desired outcome. You don't continue to punish because you then signal there's no point to contrition at all, you're damned either way

VRChat is funny. One end you have the most dedicated programmers making breakthroughs in optimization for shaders and 3D performance. The other end you have people bashing together every kit and prefab they can find for avatars. Doesn't matter if it tanks frames. If it uploads, it's good enough.

Would never happen in a million years but it would be so cool if every app or service that was strong armed by Apple just suddenly and very vocally said they werent going to support iOS devices anymore. Strictly writing on their download pages that it was explicitly because of Apple's TOS

been mulling around a slight redesign for Isabelle to make her look more lizardy again. her snout n' spikes have gotten really stylized over the years, so I've been feeling like I should dial it back a bit.

So my friend @yavh.bsky.social just got their Discord account permanently suspended because their AI has started marking anything with a GRID PATTERN as child exploitation material. They posted a gif of a pixelated game they were making and the suspension hit immediately. So. Uh. Be careful guys.

people who arn't aware be careful about sharing any images that are grid/pattern based on discord, it's been getting people banned. Friend got banned when he shared this grid based optical illusion, saw that another person got banned for posting a screen grab of a chess game and stuff

it is so bungie that not only was destiny 2, a game people Really Like, was mismanaged into the ground through insane executive decisions but its sunsetting has been mismanaged in reverse by engineering a situation where it suddenly does numbers and reminds you it should be quite successful
