in 2016 Elon Musk said he would build a fully automated factory in Fremont, California for the upcoming Model 3 and he then spent on the order of $2 billion on production lines that didn't work, forcing Tesla to assemble cars by hand in a tent but sure, now he's gonna do it on the moon
The danger however comes when we confuse his title for his expertise. "Secretary of Health Kennedy says ___" gives the air of legitimacy. Far better to say "Heroin addict Kennedy", "Man who eats road kill and has a brain worm", "Harvard drug dealer" or even "Nuzzi's ex boyfriend".

I understand why some people want this for enterprise software, which tends to be a soulless expression of moving bits and bytes around, but I hope there will be room for software where only human creativity and emotional intelligence can bring it to life.

Astonishing that if you don’t keep training people to make & maintain things, those things stop working. Our technological prowess as a society has passed its peak because people stopped investing in things that aren’t hyper-profitable. Tech literacy will decline decade on decade. Breaks my heart.
I work in tech. Have done for more than half my life. But this shit needs to stop - or be stopped.
