Update 2: noticed the repair had a new gap and that the hose was gaping again. Retaped it. Figured that if I propped the rest of the hose up it would take strain off the split part. Reposition lower hose so it leans against the door frame. Hose splits, right in the middle. TLDR: It didn’t last.😞

Update: took it apart, covered the cracked part inside and out with about half a roll of duct tape (in a more deliberate and organized fashion), hopefully it lasts through AC season.

And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.

I am still utterly gobsmacked by companies who want to pass themselves off as author-centric thinking that being "AI"-friendly is a good thing. Even the *perception* of being "AI"-friendly is enough to make actual authors avoid your services like the plague.
