Camden Cyclists

The Camden Branch of the London Cycling Campaign https://camdencyclists.org.uk/ We campaign for safe cycle infrastructure, increasing Active Travel as a mode share, decreasing of carbon emissions in Transport and improving Air Quality.

What a great way to pay tribute to Chris Powell, who was killed by a dangerous driver and sadly passed away at the beginning of the month. ❤️ We definitely need our streets to be safer so everyone can feel free and confident cycling around London. Critical Mass..

Congratulations to @londoncycling.bsky.social women’s network for a brilliant ride today calling for safety from traffic AND also for safety from everyday misogyny like cat calling and groping from car windows. Special shout out to the marshalls who kept us safe and to @letsgetcracking.bsky.social

The end of the ride - smiling women with bikes. Eccentric Pink - a first aider on the ride with his bike covered in kit. So good to meet Gio a Haringey councillor. Two women smiling with loads of bikes and banners behind. The awesome Marshalls doing their pre- ride prep. Lots of women wearing red tabards with their bikes.

@carolinerussell.bsky.social speaking before we head off: women's safety is about more than not being crushed by a lorry, it's about not being catcalled, it's about feeling safe
