A year ago this week, the SNP voted for a Green proposal to boycott Israel. A year later... the Scottish Government continues to work with companies complicit in genocide, and they have time and again failed to show how they are upholding the boycott. Shameful behaviour.

🚌 Where is the £2 bus fare cap? John Swinney promised to deliver a full rollout of the £2 bus fare cap in his first 100 days as First Minister - that deadline has now passed. Greens are pushing the Scottish Government to make bus travel cheaper for all.

It's an absolute travesty that plans to use a former railway to connect parts of Edinburgh in desperate need of public transport are going to be scrapped because a few well-off folks can make the council bend over backwards. www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/edinbur...

In May, Scotland elected a record number of Green MSPs. We're already getting to work. We've fixed unfair gaps in free childcare, fought back against mega AI data centres, and called for a ban on US military flights in Scotland. Join the movement today: greens.scot/join

Farage's latest political stunt is nothing but a desperate and cynical attempt to avoid the Standards Investigation into his finances. He is a snake oil salesman who claims to stand with the working class when he is actually part of the billionaire establishment.

While all eyes of football fans are on the World Cup, the Israeli government have murdered yet another Palestinian footballer. When will FIFA & UEFA finally kick out this genocidal regime?

A tweet from Club Deportivo Palestino: Club Deportivo Palestino deeply regrets the sensitive passing of Saleem Al-Ashqar, a 32-year-old Palestinian goalkeeper who defended the colors of Khadamat Khan Younis and who lost his life at the hands of the Israeli army.

It breaks our hearts that events like this continue to occur. We demand justice and peace for #TodoUnPueblo 🇵🇸

This so-called 'Manchesterism' isn't going to solve the systemic problems in Scotland. Halfway nationalisation won't fix our public transport, targeting migrants won't make housing cheaper, and a Glasgow mayor won't repair trust in politics. www.scotsman.com/news/opinion...

Scotland needs 'Manchesterism' even if Andy Burnham fails as Prime Minister

Prince William is a landlord who owns homes found to have damp and black mould, and they failed to meet energy efficiency standards, forcing renters into fuel poverty. In return... he earns nearly £23 million per year. It's clear where the system needs to change.

Do a couple of handshakes really justify the 222.5% pay rise they have received in the past 15 years? We've got families struggling to pay the rent despite working multiple jobs, children going to school hungry, and people unable to heat their homes in winter. Something needs to change.

Was great to be part of the 1938 people who chose to watch proper football on Saturday. When we've got corporate nonsense being forced down our throats by FIFA, it's good to remember the heart of football sits in community grounds like Newlandsfield.

WHAT A CROWD!

A huge thank you to both sets of supporters for helping us reach our highest attendance since we faced Montrose in the Scottish Cup in 2007.

Burnham's first major speech as Prime Minister-elect, and he chose to talk about English bureaucracy rather than about wealth redistribution, workers' rights or Scotland. He's just another Westminster politician.

I was 13 when Scotland voted no. I was 15 when Scotland voted to remain. 2 major votes which have impacted my generation, but we've never had a say. I hope that one day my generation will get to vote for an independent Scotland to rejoin the EU. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺

10 years ago today, Scotland was taken out of the EU despite an overwhelming majority voting to remain. The case for an independent Scotland in Europe was strong in 2016, and it's even stronger now.

As fossil fuel prices soar, it’s time for us to seize the huge opportunities we have on our doorstep. Green energy is the cleanest and cheapest energy available. With the right investment we can lower bills, cut emissions, and create thousands of long-term, well paid jobs.

Scottish Greens will deliver £600m investment in renewable energy. With more green energy we can bring down bills and protect our planet. On May 7th vote Scottish Greens.

WHAT A DISGRACE. Not a single mention of Israel in the UK Government's "independent" review into foreign interference in British democracy. No surprise given that the minister in charge has taken undeclared links to a pro-Israel lobbying group.

The Canary article: Israel gets zero mentions in government's 'report' on foreign interference.
