Don't fall for this. Rowling wants trans people to self censor and to stop sharing the report. If this report really was as defamatory as she claims, she wouldn't be cheering on its spread. What she really wants is a costly settlement from AI UK, humiliating apology, and permanent silence.

this is where your money goes when you buy harry potter stuff. rowling isn’t shy about it. amnesty wrote an even-handed report that laid out what anti-rights groups do; rowling uses her billions & clout to suppress it. when you give rowling money; she spends it on stealing people’s human rights.

If I had a nickel for every time I thought a show Cristobal Tapia de Veer composed music for should have gotten more seasons, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. (I'm referring to Utopia and Dirk Gently)

Very telling that the problem these labour mps seem to have with it is how it will impact the party electorally, not that its in and of itself morally repugnant

Today ICE fatally shot a 26-year-old Colombian man in Biddeford, Maine. This is the 11th person they’ve murdered this year—that we know of. He did everything he was supposed to. He was authorized to work in the US. He served his community. ICE still murdered him in broad daylight. Abolish ICE.
