Only 1k+ layoffs to go in a 'reset' that is lasting months interspersed with the Kojima deal and pieces highlighting the CEO taking on support tickets. I would say all this does not fill one with confidence of success. But that relies on knowing the real end goal and that still seems up in the air.

2030 is a lifetime away, but Blizzard returning to Starcraft as an open-world shooter sounds fantastic. They've already perfected the RTS twice, happy to see them try something new. Plus I bought a slim PS2 so I could play StarCraft: Ghost online, so I've been craving a new perspective for a while.

(Not so fun fact) living in constant fear of losing your livelihood, does not, in fact, result in great or meaningful art.
I think anyone that expects Xbox to hold on to anything but the absolute blockbuster studios is in for a major shock. I hope these folk can stay together and make more interesting stuff. I fear that's a sentiment I'll be copying and pasting a few times in the near future.
