@ffswtf.bsky.social · 7mo agoI don’t know why people want to leave their thinking to a questionable computer program that creates footnotes out of thin air. It’s almost like the creators of AI want us to stop critically thinking or just thinking in general. They want us to be their human robots.
Cook in the Navy during WWII, then worked for the railroad. Organist in the village church. Horn player and paralegal pre-WWII, then a sniper in the Polish army, then forced factory and farm labor as a POW, then various blue collar jobs in the US, including in a dye works. (Yes, I had 3 grandpas.)

This is literal Nazi stuff. And literal in the true sense of the word, since when my Dad and his family were in a Nazi POW camp during WWII, the Nazi officer in charge of the camp tried to bribe Dad with chocolate so they could separate him from his mother and adopt him.

He says ICE officers "comforted him" as they chased his dad, put him in their car to play "his favorite music, then took him to McDonalds."
Weird how the takeaway on this seems to be that the Dems are weak, rather than that the Republicans are categorically refusing to obey the Constitution and settled law. And in fact, won't even consider it.
