The Govt committed to universal coverage of Fracture Liaison Services by 2030 but roll out has been at a snail’s pace. Yesterday I suggested to prevent further fractures and help people to remain independent, whether rollout can be accelerated to achieve full coverage before 2030.

Fewer children than ever are entering the youth justice system for the first time. So why is the government stripping powers from the independent board that has overseen it since 1998? Jonny Oates has a bill to stop it.

Ministers voted against the change and could try to strip it out when the bill reaches MPs. Lib Dems will be pressing Labour MPs to keep it and let families reach money that was always meant for their children.

This week I’ve spent two days scrutinising the 🚝🚞🚆 Bill, which will create Great British Railways. I’ve pushed for stronger devolution, a target for passenger growth and funding for infrastructure and running the trains to be aligned in a five year period. 5 more committee days ahead.
