I will be voting this November for those who promise to shut ICE down and prosecute the crimes.
Maybe they should just practice locking the door and turning off the lights and remaining silent while hiding under their desks…or is that just appropriate for kindergartners?
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo worked hard for 35 years to send all three of his American citizen sons to college. He was driving to work through a popular neighborhood when ICE agents killed him. He was shot in the abdomen and lay moaning while no agents helped him. He had no criminal record.
ICE desperately wants you not to care about this story But we must. The killing of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican national striving for his American Dream, is a moral outrage, and a warning. ICE hopes you won't notice that mass deportation is back My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/ice-...
ICE killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. They want you to be apathetic. Don’t be. | Will Bunch
Salgado came from Mexico, built the American Dream, sent his sons to college, and was senselessly killed by ICE.

Trump's DHS Secretary said, “For some reason, ICE has been demonized.” ICE murdered two of my constituents in broad daylight and terrorized Minnesota. The American people want us to stop bankrolling more terror from this rogue agency. Abolish it.

I do not care if someone sends nudes, flirts, or invites someone for drinks; none of that implies consent.
Dear neighbor, I am frustrated, though unsurprised, to hear that an unelected, undemocratic body—unaccountable to voters—is considering a charter amendment to strip the public of an important role they hold in their government. 1/
A crucial part of Project 2029 has to be performative trials and draconian sentencing for Trump administration officials up and down the organizational ladder. Treat all of them like Timothy McVeigh so that the gravity of their criminality and treason become enduring images in American history.
This story is insane. Married an American, arrested at her greencard interview, flown out of state, nearly killed multiple times when her diabetes was ignored and then mistreated. When she finally got out? Found out her credit card had been used illegally. www.daylightsandiego.org/san-diego-wo...
Minnesota has demonstrated compassion for our neighbors, courage in the face of brutality, and solidarity by standing together. We stand in solidarity with Minnesotans in demanding Target stand up to ICE—that's why AFT has resolved that our members will shop elsewhere for back-to-school this year.
“We will never forget what happened here, and we're taking action against it. And I think you'll see it very visibly in the No Kings rallies,” says Gov. Tim Walz on the lasting impact of Trump’s ICE occupation in Minnesota. “There's work to be done because we still need justice.”

Tomorrow we’re taking up Pause Evictions Save Lives, a policy that will temporarily extend pre-eviction notice from 30 to 60 days until August 31st. This will give residents more time to get resources and support so that families can stay together and we can keep people in their homes.

My remarks following my court appearance today in Minneapolis.
I’m so proud of our community who are still out here supporting our neighbors. Let me be very clear, when this operation ends, it will be because of the resiliency of our immigrant community, who has shown the world what it looks like to be resilient, and our neighbors who will never give up. 1/
At today’s City Council meeting, we unanimously approved $500,000 in additional funding for immigration legal services. We also approved $1,000,000 in rental assistance with a 9-4 vote. A spokesperson for Mayor Frey said he would not comment on the proposal until after we take it up. 1/
