People talk about how Gavin Newsom is running for President so he's not paying much attention to the needs of regular Californians (like housing, transit, clean air and clean water). Hopefully this gets his attention and he undoes those funding cuts

In case y'all don't know the back story, in May, CARB voted to give $2B/year in carbon allowances to oil companies that they would normally have to pay for. And yes, it is the same oil companies that are raking in billions of extra profits because of high oil prices.

anyway, the "male loneliness epidemic" is a skill issue. There are *so many* volunteer needs in every city, every community. It's staggering. Every park, trail, forest and pond has a "friends group" that needs labor and bodies. Every hospital and retirement home, every club and agency.

They could literally just come to our 1 room office w no plumbing & see what we’re up to. But instead they prefer to maintain a myth that we’re shadowy, compromised evil doers?

After passing them, investigators said Medina stopped his vehicle, reversed, and struck one of the cyclists." This is absolutely horrific.
