A Trudeau Jr. legacy we have to confront is the failure on mass media. The policies of large grants to legacy orgs and trying to tax social media for Canadian content, while well-intentioned, have both had serious harm on Canada's news, especially the gov struggling to get wildfire information out.

Read this. It’s shocking. It’s murder. Not manslaughter, murder. He did it on purpose and then tried to ridiculously lie about it. But here’s the main point. Every politician, media person, ANYONE who has deliberately sought to “other” or lessen the humanity of people on bikes is an accomplice.

Saw a good number of people in masks when we were out Thursday, which is great, but some had only surgical masks. You can get respirator masks free from Mask Bloc Waterloo Region, including at some pickup locations. Or you can buy them from places like @canadastrong.bsky.social .
Reminder that surgical (medical) masks do *not* filter out the harmful particles in wildfire smoke in the outdoor air. For protection, you need at minimum an N95/KN95/KF94 (respirator) mask. P100 even better. #AirQuality
