Saw the Odyssey. It was very long. Jon Bernthal is a plank of wood. Robert Pattinson is awesome. Anne Hathaway pretty good. Sound design really good. Right-wing stupidity makes the rest of us all overhype things in response and it's really annoying.

I know Starfield got a lot of flack, and my experience is likely very different, playing a more polished product years after its release, but I am having such a good time with it. For instance: the first Terrormorph encounter is classic sci-fi action horror.

While I was working at Hansard, we embarked on a project to digitally preserve clippings that pre-date the official record of proceedings in the BC Legislature. Before that record, the only insight into the happenings of gov came from news articles. These were cut out and glued into scrapbooks. 1/?

A rough night. As I was coming out of the shower, I heard a loud sniffing - my neighbour's dog, who likes to press against my door with his snoot. I didn't register that so my grief-brain was convinced Bailey was in the apartment. Went digging through closets and all before rationality kicked in.
