Accidentally clicked the wrong context menu item and tried to extract an encrypted 7z with File Explorer. When they added 7z support, they were too lazy to support encryption. It just shows an error message. Still unsupported years later. Pathetic and half-baked, as always from those twats.

winget actually seems alright, after a quick play with it, and assuming people keep the metadata up to date. I thought it would be linux-style repackaging, but it seems to be a handy thing for telling you what needs updating (even if installed manually) and grabbing the official installers for you.

Given Visual Studio is a barely-functional pile of shit these days, I really like C++ header files for giving a nice overview of the class that people using it can read without worrying about the implementation details/code. And so templates still forcing all code into headers is rather annoying.
The way C++ introduced Blah{...} syntax for calling constructors and initializing members, but forgot to make it work with the stupid template voodoo std::make_unique and std::make_shared helpers which forward to them (that should be langauge-level functions, not library code, FFS) is kinda lame.
Sure would be nice if Synology fixed their shit. At least, I'm fairly sure that if you delete a load of files from a NAS, it should increase the amount of free space. Often not, with Synology! Snapshots seem to take up space even after being deleted.

3D printers with AMS should let you leave the filament loaded between prints. If I am going to print another thing in the same material, it's a waste of time and plastic to pull and then re-load it.
