Reporters Without Borders "deeply concerned to hear of the arrest of journalists covering a protest in Leicester, particularly given they had identified themselves as such to police. “No journalist should have to weigh the risk of arrest against their duty to inform the public."

A shame that apparently even a valid museum ticket doesn't guarantee you can see the #BayeuxTapestry, but here's a breathtaking high-resolution resource that lets you get thread-counting close to it from the comfort of your own couch: www.bayeuxmuseum.com/en/the-bayeu...

Explore the Bayeux Tapestry online - Bayeux Museum

For the first time, you will be able to freely explore the entire Bayeux Tapestry scene by scene with a never seen quality of images !

#thearchers I'm sorry but number 1. as a counsellor (for adults), only the actual client books their own session, 2. you wouldn't just randomly see other family members who turn up instead of the booked client. Ridiculous!

For the record. 150,000 people attended Trans Pride London 2026. We were protesting against - The Supreme Court Misjudgement & EHRC transphobic “guidance” - The harmful puberty-blocker ban - The child abuse that is Labour’s schools “guidance - Ongoing mainstream media disinformation & exclusion

do you know who’s not in that poem that you hold so dear? who were one of the very first targets? who the Guardian have helped set the environment and agenda against, and whose rights have been rolled back as a result? have some self-awareness, i’m begging you.

I regret that leaving Monkey Cage was necessary, but I will never regret leaving people who considered siding with hatred was more important than siding with our many non binary and trans listeners - each day I see the further empowerment of hate , the more I realise there was no other option

As NION Women, we care about being a society that leaves no one behind, where everyone can feel safe and fully participate. That includes trans+ people, who have been increasingly blamed for problems they didn't cause - and who have faced growing hostility for the best part of a decade.

We want to take a moment to acknowledge all the trans people, their families and allies who are currently wading through 300 pages of legal guidance to understand how it affects them and the people they love.

Good today to see the high court strike down the half million pound fine and judgement against the University of Sussex for not banning protests against anti-trans Professor Stock. The judge was scathing about the original judgement,if Phillipson moves forward with these new laws it will a travesty

I'm horrified that my youngest who is 18 is not planning to vote on May 7th, the first election he's been eligible to vote in. For his older siblings this was a welcomed right of passage. Any suggestions for good videos about the importance of exercising one's democratic right? #UKPolitics
