This piece rips—sparked a lot for me. Maybe to Joshua’s point, this year I’ve been looking for ways to turn the page on nihilism, and words like these, held together with grit and hope, feel like a good reason to. And to get to writing, too!

It's been enough time that I feel comfortable openly saying that I think an issue with E33 is that it believes that Maelle's position is wrong/childish. But is also wants you to believe people in the canvas are *real* people. It implicitly argues her position while wanting player to do otherwise.
