I find it interesting how many people on any side of AI are willing to make very strong and definite predictions at the current moment. The variance of possible outcomes right now is so huge I have very little confidence in any particular prediction, basically:
babe is everything okay? you've barely touched your five mutually exclusive boolean props that should have been a single enum.
I'm so tired of being expected to read things that no one has bothered to write.

Wish this happened at the Berkeley graduation where the perplexity ai guy just spewed shit on the mic for way too long.
Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt was booed throughout this commencement speech at the University of Arizona for his praise of AI. This comes just a week after another commencement speaker who mentioned AI was booed at a school in Florida. Read more: www.404media.co/ucf-ai-comme...
Cooked myself yesterday going too hard too early in the ride. Still has such a blast :) I had never done a century until this year and this marks the 3rd one (yet)
Dawkins spending his entire career berating basically pretty normal people for being so stupid as to believe in God and then immediately giving himself Roko's Basilisk Derangement Syndrome after talking to the AI catgirl waifus is just the funniest shit.
Richard Dawkins concludes AI is conscious, even if it doesn’t know it

two upcoming javascript proposals i'm really excited about: - module declarations will let you define multiple javascript modules inline within a single file (github.com/tc39/proposa...) - module expressions will let you create workers without requiring a separate file (github.com/tc39/proposa...)
Happy to announce TSRX. Think of it as the spiritual successor to JSX. We extracted it from Ripple, and made it framework agnostic. It can compile to React, Ripple and Solid, other frameworks to come soon. tsrx.dev

I missed this one when it was published but it's an absolute banger. In the age of "do everything faster," it's easy to forget that speed is not only unhelpful, but completely counterproductive—sabotage, even—if applied to the wrong part of the pipeline. andrewmurphy.io/blog/if-you-...
