Chronic Over Thinker Abolitionist Now I’m just somebody that you used to know. People Over Profit Follows & Reposts are not Endorsements Stay Curious I’ll use Discord, I prefer Signal.

Stargazing before bed. Lots of small noises from animals shifting around in the trees and bushes. When I let my eyes adjust to the night sky, I can see the silhouette of a bat hunting mosquitoes & other bugs. I saw two satellites go over, one my star guide app named & one anonymous.

The Sisyphean nature of cleaning up the kitchen has really been getting me down lately, but I tried really hard today and it definitely feels like it’s improving. After an eternity of always having something that still needs to be cleaned up or washed, I’m grateful for finally seeing progress. 🙌

I found a snake shed in the front grass, so cool! I think I’m gonna put it in one of my neat little jars with other spell components. I’ve been seeing smaller garter snakes in both the front and back yard which is awesome as it is a sign the ecosystem is healthy enough for them to reproduce 🐍🌱 🥰

Did you hear? They're selling limited edition Bread blind boxes at the circus today. If you get the chase rare, it also comes with a keychain shaped like a slice of American Cheese. I'm gonna try to get there early before the resellers get them all.

I find people don’t generally like to discuss how many cults and groups with cult-like dynamics forming have members and victims that are living integrated with everyone else in “society”. Groups that are cults, (or will soon become one) operate everywhere, not just in isolated pockets.

My teenager has gotten into watching football, and I am trying to be a supportive parent but I really don’t understand it… (the appeal or the game tbh) however I did find a seahawks shirt with sequins on it at the thrift store, so if nothing else I can get excited about that 😹

Consumer Reports tested 13 e-scooters to rate and review. But because of the frequency of injuries being reported - including injuries sustained by the CR testers themselves in this process - CR is not recommending ANY. www.consumerreports.org/cars/electri...

We Tested 13 Electric Scooters. We Don’t Recommend Any. - Consumer Reports

CR doesn't recommend e-scooters because of their high speeds and rising injury rates. Two of CR's testers sustained injuries while evaluating e-scooters, too.

"The Emperor is a fan of Flock, and we must continue utilizing Flock technologies so that we can follow and surveil the rebel scum as they move from playground to playground... They are following children in parks and gymnasiums, and we need this. I need this so I can stalk my ex-girlfriend."

Me: alright gonna have lunch and then be so productive running errands Also me: spills thing of hot sauce directly onto lap Guess we’re going home to change first 🤦🏻‍♀️

Feathers are cool af. 😎 I saw this while taking the dog outside before bed… I think it’s from one of the northern flickers that hangs around in the neighborhood, which is one of my favorite local birds 🥰

Feather laying in the dirt of the forest floor. It has an orange center shaft and a black and white feathered part that is kind of spotty.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Closeup shot of my orange long haired tabby cat Tamago laying on his back with his paw towards the camera, it almost looks like he’s going to grab the edge of the frame. His eyes are huge and round and focused on the camera and he looks deeply concerned for his favorite workers in the city (his bias, not mine.)

Made one of my comfort foods for dinner tonight, it’s not one I generally recommend because apparently hot, canned tuna is a little polarizing for some people, but it was one of the first ‘recipes’ I learned to put together when I was a child: tuna n’ noodles.
