truly shocking how manhattan has become a shell of its former self, just 8 months after congestion pricing took effect. grocery store shelves have emptied, rents have dropped, it's like those dystopian movies. the haters were right.

In 2023, the City Council passed a package of laws expanding access to housing vouchers. Eric Adams vetoed it. Then the Council overrode his veto. The Mayor refused to implement it. Now a court says he has to. What a ridiculous waste of time during a housing crisis.
