Racists want white Northern European/American actors playing ancient Greek roles because they believe the ANCIENT Greeks were white, not MODERN Greeks. Nazis claimed the Greeks were white Aryans but since became corrupted by racial mixing during the Hellenistic, Roman, & especially Ottoman periods.

Ive just finished reading the LOTR trilogy for the first time and I genuinely one of my favourite parts of the ending was Bill the Pony donkey kicking Bill Ferny. I did also enjoy all the emotions… thanks Tolkien.
