its very telling that the mainstream media narrative is that dsa has wacky and unreasonable positions when the republican party position is that abortion should be banned, latino families should be put in concentration camps, black people should be shot by cops and transgender people shouldnt exist
a sitting senator just said that Max Miller is a threat to his granddaughter. kind of wonder if literally any other republican politician will call for miller to drop out.

Tariq Panja@tariqpanja.bsky.social · 5d agoIn a week of incendiary statements, this from Kevin Lamour, who at least for tonight remains FIFA COO, is incredibly damning in that it is from an insider that goes beyond this one scheme and is an assassination in a few hundred words of the FIFA president as a leader of global football.

Note here how Hassett frames more people coming into a struggling area and raising house prices by buying up underused housing stock as a positive, then compare that to how the admin has talked about immigrants coming into a struggling area like Springfield.

the thing that scares the middle and right so much about DSA is that they don't believe in oligarchy. the idea that the richest have not earned the right to govern the rest of us is the thing that makes them furious.
