I think the only TV show I have a whole book in me about is HBO's The Leftovers It would be a mix of interview-based reporting and Harold Bloom-esque religious criticism

My turn-ons include long walks on the beach and Carrie Coon saying “The Wu-Tang Band” in that one episode of THE LEFTOVERS

This is a big theme of the book: having a neurodivergent or disabled kid who is on the cusp of becoming a grown-up and finding their independence in a world where it is harder for them to claim autonomy for themselves than it may be for other young people.

One thing I haven't seen folks write about about Power Rangers Green is the fact that Mirella, Tommy's descendant, signs instead of speaking. @paulallor.bsky.social wanted to create a character who is noticeably neurodivergent-- Mirella can hear, but she uses ASL to talk to her family.

The nasty little thing with climate change is that the situation progressively gets worse as long as we emit greenhouse gases, and that is irreversible. So there's no happy message "Let's bring emissions to zero and then everything will be alright" Nope, everything will be worse than it is now. 1/

It's also almost as though the far right agenda is simply not a grievance that can ever be settled. .... Which is also why it will never work our well for other 'centrist' or 'centre-right' parties when they pander to it.

The Warren Publishing horror comics from the 70s. I was waaay too young and they scared me so much I had trouble sleeping for a week sometimes. Next Halloween I have a creator owned book coming out that's my love letter to those comics ❤️
