Christopher Nolan's branding over the last decade has shown with great effect how you don't need a complicated logo, so long as you have powerful visuals - and it also makes for a great generator! The Odyssey Font & Logo Generator is live now!

The media's takeaway from an El-Sayed win is the same as it would have been from a Stevens win, and the same as it will be if El-Sayed wins the general, or if he loses it: everyone, no matter who they are, needs to take several steps to the right.
I’m telling you this as a political scientist. The person who is electable is the one who is elected. This can and does change over time. Any and all speculation about “electability” is either puffery or anxiety and is often both.
One way to be safe is to never write an electability take
I know we are chalking the success of some leftist candidates almost entirely to the DSA. However, it seems like the more common theme is that these are candidates with organizing experience?
a primary of Emmanuel, Newsom, Buttigieg, Shapiro, Khanna, Slotkin, Harris and Ossoff would feel very different because it would absolutely blunt enthusiasm among people that want unbought, anti-war candidates
Glad it’s over, thrilled by the results, and, I regret to inform you: The MI Senate primary (much like the TX one) is pretty good foreshadowing for what the 2028 Democratic presidential primary is going to feel like.
@abdulelsayed.bsky.social triumphing over something like $60 million, $32-ish million of it AIPAC money, is not a "narrow" victory, it's a people's earthquake. This kind of spending is oligarchy in action, to smother democracy through its formal channels, and is getting normalized. Still he won.
We're organizing to get money out of politics — and we are WINNING.

They spent $60M+ in pro-Trump, pro-war money trying to buy Michigan's Senate seat. They lost. A movement for the people and by the people will always win. Tonight we celebrate. Tomorrow, we get to work to defeat Trump puppet Mike Rogers in November. Congratulations, @abdulelsayed.bsky.social.
Abdul El-Sayed has won, NBC News says. And there are other wins for the left in Michigan: —William Lawrence wins his U.S. House primary. —A DSA-backed candidate is leading a Democratic incumbent for state House. —Abbas Alawieh, co-founder of Uncommitted, leads for state Senate.
again I need to point out that Chuck Schumer is not only wrong on the substance but getting annihilated on the politics. He’s failing at the thing he (so wrongly) says is his top job. His leadership is unsustainable. That’s just simple fact at this point.
Chuck Schumer to Bret Stephens, March 2025: “My job is to keep the left pro-Israel.”
They're calling it for @abdulelsayed.bsky.social — this is a victory for Medicare for All, for every American who has ever needed care but couldn't afford it. We are one step closer to realizing health care as a human right in this country.
No matter the margin the story is that Haley Stevens got $70M of support, more than $30M of it from a single organization, and still lost.
