Like, you could make the case that YA in its current form as both an age category and marketing term didn't exist when we Millennials were kids. But YA itself - as in books written for teens - absolutely was a thing...it was just often shelved in the Children's section.

When there are multiple stories about data centers simply building gas turbines without permits, PROVING they can’t be trusted, you’d be a fool to trust them. This is not paranoia, it’s pragmatism.
Anil Dash@anildash.com · 6d agoI'll add some nuance here — most local pushback against data centers is actually quite fluent, and not grounded in the more wild-eyed rhetoric you see on social media. Very often, the core premise is a simple, correct one: you can't trust what Big Tech says in its promises to a local community.
I've haven't seen anyone mention this brilliant piece of anticipation building from the motion graphics and lighting team at AEW All In yet and they should get their flowers. The lighting through the Press Start intro to the New Level's intro was the classic New Day pink/yellow/light blue 🤼🧵
