We won't know what we've lost until it's gone.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.
The bigger issue is that this gives people the ability to launder real csam. Real csam ran through AI almost instantly becomes legal.

It's really really really important to remember that literally NONE of the creative platforms or tools we use have AI shoved in there for us. They are there to generate numbers for shareholders. You are not crazy for not adopting them. The creative world has not moved to AI. Hold the fucking line.
