I wonder how much Stonetop will become a model for the next generation of PbtA (and -like) games and to what degree its scale will detract from that. (On its own, it’s def already a classic and a hit.)

Such a good point by @jdragsky.bsky.social in the 7PP AMA. Broadening the idea out: Every game has a hierarchy of things it wants to say, and it's useful to sacrifice the stuff that's lower on that list to make sure the higher stuff hits solidly.
