I shared early insights into subjective #stress trajectories over the #menstrualcycle from the first 26 participants and how they relate to affective symptom changes (very preliminary; data collection ongoing). 📈

Excited for my talk at #WASAD2025! I’ll share some initial findings from my ongoing study, focusing on the trajectories of everyday life stress across the menstrual cycle and how they relate to premenstrual symptoms ✨ I’ll present at 10:15 at lecture hall 2. Come by! :)

Again, they're trying to take away our vaccines. From the head of the FDA, a gross misrepresentation of the annual process of updating a proven vaccine to target new disease strains. His plan would make it impossible to get seasonal flu and Covid shots, and of course he knows this.

To be clear, this is a new product that Novavax is trying to introduce to the market with a study of a different product from 2021. New products require new clinical studies.

Under this administration, we are prioritizing the Gold Standard of Science--not what saves pharma companies "tens of millions of dollars."

I’d guess most taxpayers are unaware how much they’ve already invested in creating the scientific workforce, which is now being thrown away. Maybe $500,000 per scientist? Talk about waste.

Noticeably silent amid the upheaval at HHS? Big pharma. Every new drug has NIH somewhere in its DNA--and NIH funding supports the training of their workforce. Now they're finding out FDA isn't safe, either. Wrote about how keeping quiet isn't working My latest @opinion.bloomberg.com (gift link):

Big Pharma Needs to Get Off the Sidelines

The industry can’t continue to sit idly by while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. guts the nation’s public health agencies.

This one absolutely breaks my heart. The NIH post baccalaureate IRTA program lets our youngest and most creative minds come together to understand the potential impact of a career dedicated to scientific discovery. It sets trainees on a future not only of science but of *service*.

One of the many, many “pauses” and cancellations devastating our next generation of researchers. “The NIH Intramural Program has paused the recruitment of IRTAs, CRTAs, and Visiting Fellows in all training programs pending guidance from Health and Human Services. Check back daily for updates.”
