Bought a present for someone online with "standard postage" ✅ Added something for myself to get free postage ✅ Get a notification that evri are the final mile couriers 😭 See lots of people complaining that their parcels have gone missing recently (more than usual) 💀

And normal service has resumed, cant have a good without a bad. I have been selected for individual consultations at my current job. What a fucking joke after all i did for them. Basically outsourcing everyone to Bulgaria, and i expect as i have the highest wage in the team i got chosen for that..

Got a set of big interviews today with one soon, apparently my heart rate has spiked high enough for long enough that my watch asked me if I was working out! No, I'm currently sat in my desk chair, shitting bricks and vibrating at a speed that would make a humming bird jealous...

Although the land is suffering from a severe lack of rainfall to nourish everything, I think our garden is glad it's been able to breathe now we've cleared a fair bit from out of control and overgrown areas. In the process we've found huge tree stumps, old dog toys, a bone and a patio.

Just learned our next door neighbour passed away today after a short battle with illness, we only knew her a short time but she was such a character, and such a kind person that the world is just a little bit worse off without her in it. :(

I'd love to credit whoever wrote this. No idea. But I'm 100% with its message. When I think of how the '80s ethos, "Greed is Good" has metastasized, it surprises and depresses me. Imagine having so many millions, hundred of millions, even billions & caring about nothing except your own vanity.

Entering the last 30 hrs of the years i can actually say in "in my 30s". Mentally I somewhat still feel in my 20s, and that 2000 was only a few years ago........ physically oh boy do i feel it 😅

This apology feels incredibly hollow to me. My team was forced into this situation many many months ago and the opportunity to learn from that experience was there, but clearly that didn't happen. The lack of care and empathy cannot simply be undone or unsaid.

We'd like to publish a statement to address some rumours circulating. Today, we apologise for the impact of planned changes, outline what's happening, and our plan to fix that. We hope to reassure you of the future of the convention facilities. A web version is available here: buff.ly/mm9aepe (1/2)

Our ConFuzzled Restructure
Hello!
Today, we would like to address openly some of the rumours that have been swirling on social media, and in other forums online.
Specifically, it has become clear that an internal matter has spilled over into the public domain. We’ve made mistakes in the process of executing some changes to the convention staff structure, and we are sorry for that.
That this has hurt people we consider not just colleagues in running the convention, but friends, is something that horrifies us. At the Director level, we accept responsibility for that, and apologise.
We want to explain a little about what led to this situation.
A Restructure
Reviews and restructuring of our staff and departments are nothing new. Indeed these have happened in the past on numerous occasions. It's important that we always review our operating structures with a critical eye to make sure we're giving you the best service possible.
It’s also something that comes from wanting to embrace change. What you, our attendees, expect from ConFuzzled changes and evolves. The Furry community is dynamic; it’s one of the things we love about it. That sometimes means that some historic aspects of our furry convention might become less popular over time, and new elements begin to emerge as important to embrace.
In the months leading up to ConFuzzled 2026 we began to review our structure and how it might be improved. Almost immediately following the Convention that process continued, culminating in the actions of this last week. We sought to embrace change. We sought to streamline our staff structure. Plus, yes, we sought to manage convention costs. Thanks to many years of sound financial management, the convention is in a strong financial position, however future plans may require a larger

This is really fucking poor taste, and just bad form to post this on LinkedIn when at the same time you're making people in your UK offices redundant.......

LinkedIn post saying about hiring roles in Bulgaria for the same company that is currently laying off it's UK staff...
