Elon Musk said lots of antisemitic things and shared lots of antisemitic posts written by antisemites and then sprinkled on some sugar with two nazi salutes on telly and Jonathan Greenblatt said "no he's alright, he isn't one" and now has spent over a year painting Zohran Mamdani as Hitler Part II.

Being dead is not some kind of state line where, if you can just cross the border, all your trespasses evaporate. The flowers still wither where you poured salt. The living continue to suffer the consequences of your actions. People are entitled to say, he made the garden worse, and now he is gone.

Is everyone aware of the General Motors streetcar conspiracy? In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.

Apropos of nothing, I am increasingly convinced that many American progressive accounts on bluesky are just a psy-op intended to sabotage international sympathy for Americans from people in the rest of the world who are opposed to fascism. At this point it's the more plausible explanation.
