I don't talk a lot about it because it's nobody's business but my partner works in the funerary industry & March '20 to June '21 broke them. A 9/11's worth of people died a day in the US, if you ever talk about how lockdown "wasn't worth it," and COVID-19 "wasn't that bad," I'm gonna [REDACTED].

We are in a sustained period of capitalism where every product/service is set to the absolute maximum cost and absolute lowest quality it can get away with. It's why even when economic signifiers are good, everyone feels the economy is terrible. Why? It's always the same answer: Private equity
