We're calling for, among other measures, the officers involved to be suspended amid investigation, improved de-escalation strategies, and retraining on chokehold and kneeling policies.

We found officers connected to Kenny's death still working in posts with direct contact with incarcerated people. We also found a pattern of force at South Bay the dept's own policy doesn't permit: chokeholds, cuffs used as weapons, pain compliance on restrained people.
