i think the big data center backlash has a lot to do with technology getting worse, costing more, building a surveillance state, destroying the environment, owned by a class of wealthy elite that coalesced behind the fascist regime that made clear they’d sacrifice humanity for their own power growth

Had a session 0 for a campaign that I'm running with a group of people from StartPlaying. Group seems great, a lot of fun together already, and they're all excited about the campaign. I'm 2/2 with my StartPlaying groups rn! Every experience I've had with SPG as a player or GM has been great
I didn't put this line in my Stonetop not-review but "GMing is a practise" is a great way to put a fundamental truth about that bit of the form.

Time will teach you how to read a game and understand what the important parts are to you and, crucially, your players. AI robs you of this craft.
