Artists that I want to commission for art of my characters always seem to have their sales right when I'm having a money shortage. Which probably means that I'm on the same money-crunch cycles as they are! That's kind cool, when you think about it.
It's so wild that I can't convince myself to write more often. It always feels so good when I just do it. 500 words isn't much but I feel invigorated.

He was all "Please, I'm trying to recover, I don't want to hear more about Mystery Science Theater 3000" and I was all "Okay, but listen, the Forrester family crest in Castle Forrester has implications!"
About fifteen years ago, I did an informal survey by asking every female comics reader what Marvel or DC book hooked them into comics, if at all. It was Batman, X-Men and Sandman by huge margins, Spider-Man wasn’t even in the top ten. Something about the movies? That was a long time ago…

He also said that girls/women were furiously avid readers and would buy more, and more consistently, than any of his male customers. In the PNW, too

The Pink Panther series is incredible because there are 11 movies and only 4 of them are good and the rest are objectively terrible but the 4 good ones are so fucking good that is still somehow averages out to be one of the best franchises ever.

Also while walking the beach I took note of these pools that were formed by the tide coming in and going out earlier in the day and my brain was like "Wait. Is that what Tide Pools are?" and now I feel silly having never put that together before in my life XD
