What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.
Ok so like I have this thing abt 2d animators. What the fuck. How do they do this? Are they wizards? Is it magic? i always ask this. I always watch these clips on repeat for like 15min just marveling at all the lil subtle movement details. I just can’t wrap my head around it. It’s true alchemy.

Zootopia 2 is the highest grossing Hollywood movie of the year & Kpop Demon Hunters was Netflix's most popular movie of all time, but fuck animators, am I right? I hate reading about how huge & beloved this stuff is while knowing how hard creators have it & how it still isn't broadly taken seriously
AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone - tech is now more expensive - you cannot trust most media of reality anymore - programs barely function - energy prices - literal psychosis - your voice can be literally stolen for evil - more spyware but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

My first ft job was making t-shirt designs for Disney. Their brand guidelines were crazy strict. For ex multiple princesses couldn’t interact/look at each other or have their feet visible. I guess you can just slopify as much spiderman elsa feet stuff as you want now. Brand integrity? Who cares lol
With the recent news I am deeply disappointed and disgusted. Disney would be nothing without human artists and with AI or not they will continue to be nothing without human artists. For that reason I don’t think this will last. I will no longer accepting assignments or work based on Disney IP.
I think people should be pretty angry that a handful of men unilaterally decided culture, art and civilization should be fed into a woodchipper so they could attract VC funding.
